“Ghost In The Turret” by Donna Wren Carson was among the books displayed by Author Reputation Press during the 2024 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books (LATFOB) at the University of Southern California on April 20–21, 2024.
The LATFOB is considered to be one of the world’s most significant literary gatherings. It has been held every year since 1996 with the goal of bringing together the people who create books and the people who love to read them. It is attended by more than 550 authors, celebrities, storytellers, and hundreds of exhibitors.

Author Reputation Press once again showcased some of its amazing books in a wide selection of genres in this year’s LATFOB. This book gallery aims to connect readers and authors by exposing it at an event attended by audiences around the globe.
Donna Wren Carson was born and raised in Enfield, CT. After years of avid reading, she applied her skills to young adult mystery novels. After leaving the high-paced manufacturing industry, she turned her dedication to substitute teaching at her daughter’s elementary school. It fired her imagination to bring to children not only the love of a good mystery but also the laughter of the situations that young readers can relate to through the three main characters.
In “Ghost In The Turret,” Leira MacGregor is invited to stay at Skye Finnegan’s home during spring vacation while her parents go to Aruba. Ecstatically, their best friend Addy Davies is welcome to stay as well.
Already warned that Skye’s turreted guest room’s attic is out of limits, they defiantly investigated and encountered strange and terrifying events. They conquer numerous fears with the help of an old friend and an unexpected ally. Then, winding their way through a series of hair-raising adventures, they come face-to-face with a ghost in a triangle of mysteries.
The three best friends (LAS) are united again to solve their most fearsome and deadly adventure yet. While Leira and Addy are staying with Skye, they investigate “The Ghost” in the attic. Emotions heighten as threatening messages appear. Is the message truly from the grave? They see the advice or help from astonishing sources, but it might be too late for one person to have already died.
