“Before I Became Me: The Path To My Greatness” recounts the inspiring story that presents: after the fourth puff, the author’s head would begin to spin. At that time in his life, puffing a cigar was an experience he thoroughly enjoyed. He enjoyed it so much that he tried to smoke every day. As he reflected, that was the time he started on the wrong path in life.
A year before, he started skipping school. He liked the control he had when he didn’t go to school. Looking into his life, the first time he got high, it began a downward spiral. When he skipped school after that, smoking created a path toward girls, lying, robbing, and stealing.
Then his drug use began in that order. He stayed on that path for nearly twenty-three years. Though it was exciting at times, it was also dangerous. He can remember times when he almost died. He’s so grateful to be alive with most of the senses God gave him.
I’ve had the honor of becoming Mr. Underwood’s Life Purpose Coach after reading his first book “Before I Became Me ” As a coach it has been enlightening to see and hear how Mr. Underwood operates. It’s truly inspiring and authentic. He is definitely a person that I would call a world changer.
For all the life challenges he has overcome and all that he has accomplished in spite of them I must mention that his outstanding quality is humility. He gives all the praise to GOD first and foremost and never forgets to accredit his wife Kim Underwood.
The 8 Cycles Of Wellness program can be very intense. It takes time and commitment and most of all a readiness to grow. The program is centered around the development of a person’s Values,Ethics, Spiritually, Physical, and Mental health. I am proud to say that Mr. Underwood has successfully completed the program and has gained a certificate. I look forward to reading his next book.
