HOW MANY OPTIONS DO WE HAVE TO SHARE OUR LIVES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT?

In 1972, Victoria A. Poissant’s mother left her farming village in México with six young children and one suitcase to go by bus to California. Victoria was eight years old. It was the journey that changed her life, as portrayed in her poetry, writings, and artwork in “Art & Poetry—Nestled in These Captured Moments,” published in 2021.

As an engineering graduate from Loyola Marymount University, her professional career began designing theme park attractions for Walt Disney Imagineering. After 10 years as an engineer and after researching other fields in which to apply her experience, she discovered the field of intellectual property (IP).

She holds a patent agent registration from the United States Patent and Trademark Office and a Juris Doctorate. She’s worked in the IP field for 20 years. Her journey continues as she’s discovered the joy of writing poetry, photography, and painting.

Although she embarks on these gratifying art forms during her spare time, she takes each moment to the fullest until a project is complete.
