Charles Campise’s “Adventures Of A Rideshare Driver” gets critical acclaim from the US Review of Books

Author Reputation Press is pleased to announce that the US Review of Books (USRB) has given a positive review for Adventures Of A Rideshare Driver by Charles Campise.

The book chronicles Campise’s favorite experiences driving passengers who like to use the ride-sharing mode of transportation. His stories are limited to his experiences in and around Austin, Texas and other areas in the central part of the state for more than three years, beginning in June 2014. The book includes the stories he told his passengers about the history of the region.

According to USRB’s book critic Barbara Bamberger Scott, Campise “shares a sentimental memoir of his work.” His experiences include ferrying someone to a detox center and driving dignitaries. He also ferried sleeping soldiers and once brought a just-married couple to their honeymoon destination.

In between trips, Campise kept a journal while enjoying driving people from one place to another. Scott observes that his “recollections are often humorous, revealing an open-hearted, sometimes open-handed attitude toward his diverse customers.” Read the full review here.
