H. Allenger’s fascination with the Greek mythology is obvious in “Polyxena”

Greek mythology has always fascinated author H. Allenger.
He finds the stories about Troy particularly interesting.
When he visited Troy in 2004, he didn’t have any idea he would write a novel about it someday.
After seeing Wolfgang Peterson’s movie Troy, he became inspired to write his own book about it.
Allenger chose Polyxena as the main character because he found the name attractive.
Before actually writing his manuscript, he would mentally think about how he would structure his story.
It helped that not much has been written about Polyxena which gave me a lot of leeway in developing her personality and attributes.
