The author, Sandra M. Riley, is a born-again Christian who is saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost. She has made Jesus “the center of her joy.”

Sandra is a native of Chester, Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work, and her Ph.D. in Higher Education from Walden University.

Sandra is a member of God’s House of Glory Haven of Peace in Chester. Through her God-given talent and the leading of the Holy Ghost, Sandra has written poems to praise God and encourage the soul.

“Praise and Encouragement” is a collection of spiritual poems that speak to the heart, mind, soul, and spirit of every human being. God, the Creator of everything, is worthy of praise. Everyone can use some encouragement at some point in their lives.
